Misery Loves Company

Misery loves company. Misery.....loves.......company......, let's disect. Every time I used this saying in the past, I meant it in this way: when someone is so miserable that they will work endlessly in order to make the people around them just as miserable as them. It doesn't matter if they're a loved one, a friend or just someone who is lending an ear. When someone is so unhappy with what's going on in their life or a situation, they want everyone else to feel the feelings they are feeling. But as I sit down and reflect on my very recent experiences I have realized I have been miserable for some months now. I lost some people I thought I'd never lose and I was kind of miserable over it. Because I felt that way, I looked for company and comfort in hands, hearts, ears, Hennessy and Bacardi bottles, bars and bedrooms of people who were ready to offer it. I wasn't looking to make them miserable but I was looking to fill voids. I felt empty. I felt angry. I felt alone. But with all that being said, don't judge a person suffering from misery because we all experience it. And misery, she's a bitch almost as bad as that girl karma.
