The two of six children's acting careers have taken off quite recently with Jussie on Fox's hit drama "Empire" and Jurnee on the new series on WGN, "Underground." The children are not only interesting in acting, singing, and poetry, but they are active in the Black Lives Matter movement and devoted to the cause of ending H.I.V and AIDS. A MAC Cosmetics Posted a photo of a Black model on their instagram on Thursday Feb. 18th, the last day of New York Fashion Week and it went viral. Many people on the Internet responded in a negative way. Many users went as far as using racist derogatory names describing the photo. This article is in response to those negative comments and celebrates the model and MAC Cosmetics for diversifying their brand.

The racial gap between white unemployed people and Black unemployed people is wide and separated by at least 3 percent. Black people are twice as likely as white people to be out of work and looking for a job, which was also true in 1954. Though there are nearly 1.6 million Americans in state or federal prison, their absence is not accounted for in the decisions that politicians make. As a result, we operate under a distorted picture of the nation's economic health.
